Work the Trend: Under The Sea by Karman Rebecca Sangera

This spring and summer time spurge into the deep mystical ocean for fashion inspiration, as the industries top designers show clear inspiration from the tropical serene water world.

(Versace, Chanel & Peter Pilotto, S/S 12 Collection)

From Chanel to our high street finest the theme of the under water world, is clearly inspiring much of the summer trends, with large seashell prints, pearl accessories, light fabrics and fresh white tailoring there’s something completely enchanting being offered. Within this look be sure to summon you underwater goddess, with great prints and textures as well as superior floating fabrics.

(Versace, Giorgio Armani S/S 12 Collection)

If you feel your not so fashion brave to recreate this look, then experiment with blues.  Be sure to play around with textures and volume, work a peplum light blue skirt with a white silk top, and accessorise with pearls, is a more lighter way of approaching the underwater themed trend.

STYLE TIP: Don’t be afraid to embrace your inner childhood love of the little mermaid, by wearing more than one garment that features the underwater trend.

Worn with a great flat sandal or a wedge, you can easily pull this look off. Galley4’s waterfall skirt is one of my favourite from their collection.
